Strategies Use and Self-efficacy perceptions: Libyan EFL University Students

Language learning strategies (LLSs) and the elements that affect their usage, like Self-efficacy (SE) gender variations during process, both of which have been significant areas focus in teaching English as a foreign language (EFL) to students other languages, they play pivotal role process. Libyan context research on this topic is relatively scarce. As result, study was conducted determine if there link between LLS SE; order accomplish goal, surveyed 60 who enrolled at University Tripoli (33 males 27 females). Both SILL QESE were used process data collection. To analyze data, software (SPSS) examine gathered. It concluded students' utilization LLSs moderate level, with noticeable difference; although reported high levels self-efficacy, weak positive association across SE reported. The conclusion shall be valuable researchers teachers, will provide ways better understand current views strategy utilization.
